Premise: A hungry guy sneaks into a home in search of food and notices a lamp that, when lit, is said to bring good luck. A kid befriends the guy, who departs when the house’s leader – a stern woman, the boy’s aunt – arrives. After his aunt has left, the kid agrees to light the lamp as a signal for the guy to return. The boy’s sister has agreed to use the same signal to inform her lover that her aunt, who is opposed to the relationship, has left the home. The aunt herself turns on the lamp to summon her next-door neighbor for tea. The difficulties that follow are quick, fierce, and surprising!
