Tourism is already a huge part of Oklahoma City and is an important component of the city’s economy. When the construction of a $300 million resort with an indoor waterpark is completed, it will create jobs for hundreds of people, and should lead to increased tourism in the region.
OKANA Resort and Indoor Waterpark is a new Oklahoma City attraction that will be built by the Chickasaw Nation. The facility will be located next to the First Americans Museum along the Oklahoma River to help contribute to the transformation of the south side of downtown.
