The ‘A Room with a View’ exhibit at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art features a variety of artist portrayals of the Italian countryside over a period of three centuries and will be available weekly until November 7th.
Artists, globally, have always been captivated by the allure of the Italian countryside. American artists were fascinated by the country’s natural beauty. They traveled throughout Italy to study art and culture, as well as to paint the campagna, or countryside basked in a beautiful glow.
