#1 Outdoor Adventure Show at Scissortail Park

Explore Oklahoma’s finest outdoor equipment, adventure gear, and leisure activities. Canoe and kayak shops, tents, camping gear, fishing equipment, sports equipment, and other things are available. There are also airstream trailers, boats, bicycles, and leisure vehicles to be seen. Discover the finest outdoor walking and hiking routes, sports leagues, river excursions, and camping spots in Oklahoma.

#2 National Day of the Cowboy

Make a braided bracelet, a cowboy sash, and your own cowboy notebook to go with your cowboy attire. Take aim at the Nerf target practice range or try your hand at a huge horseshoe game. Commemorate the occasion by having a cowboy caricature artist sketch you. Ballet Folclórico Xochipili will perform at 11 a.m., followed by Mariachi Los Viajeros at 2 p.m.

#3 FREE Kids Fest: Comes to You!

On July 24, families are invited to take a Kids Fest Tour to explore new attractions and companies while having fun together at our vendor and sponsor sites! They begin by selecting one of five starting locations strategically located throughout the metro, where they will enjoy activities such as face painting, bounce houses, and petting zoos from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and receiving their Kids Fest swag bag, which includes the Adventure Map and is full of vendor/sponsor information and coupons for the day. Each attraction or “stop” on the tour will provide something unique to Kids Fest guests.

#4 FREE Christmas in July at Joe B. Barnes Park

Come celebrate Christmas in July with us at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park! This FREE family event will bring Christmas joy to Midwest City, as well as games, live entertainment, food trucks, and other activities.

#5 FREE City of Moore Fishing Derby

Kids aged 5 to 15 may use a fishing rod to attempt to capture a prize fish. The Oklahoma Wildlife Department will be on hand to provide safety instruction. Bring your own fishing rod and bait. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. There is a four-fish limit per household. You capture it, and you retain it!
