According to a new study by SeniorLiving.org, Oklahomans don’t have to search far for a decent location to retire.

Each year, SeniorLiving.org compiles a list of states for older people based on 15 criteria.

Cost of healthcare, access to healthcare, cost of living, tax load, and lifestyle concerns are among those issues.

Researchers published their ranking of ‘The Best and Worst States for Older Adults’ after studying all 50 states.

Florida led the rankings, finishing in the top quarter of all three main statistical categories.

Oklahoma finished in second place after scoring well in the areas of ‘relative tax burden’ and ‘monthly ownership expenses.’
